School Consultation and Student Support
We provide school districts support through consultation and direct student care
Professional Development For School Counselors and Educators
**All services are customizable and would be worked out to best suit the needs and budget of your school**
We will facilitate the formation of an ongoing community, where adjustment counselors can hone their clinical skills, further their professional development, receive expert clinical support, and build resources and interventions, as well as learn traditional and nontraditional methods for clinical presentations. Providing this thread of support through the school year builds a clinical community for counselors resulting in broader visions of the student within their communities, a “bigger clinical toolbox” and increased avenues for student and teacher interventions.
We will hold monthly meetings throughout the school year for school adjustment counselors which will include the following:
Trainings in evidence-based practices
Regularly scheduled clinical case presentations, where counselors present on challenging students in order to provide a more comprehensive biopsychosocial clinical perspective
Reflection sessions that allow adjustment counselors to share and celebrate their successful interventions, thus developing a mutually supportive network providing added professional resources to colleagues
Provide space for personal relationship building between the adjustment counselors, thus enhancing the quality of their work experience
Provide regular opportunities for school adjustment counselors to utilize individual consultation for the ongoing support of high-risk students
